Pretty sure its because you buy the most boring and vanilla pieces that MMM puts out. If you disagree that's cool since you should buy for yourself and I only say this because it's what most other people think and why comments like that are made. Mystery solved! Cue the scooby-snacks.

Those pieces could actually be worn, together, in very interesting ways, or even in a boring, but good, way. The sweater is actually pretty nice, and has some interesting details.

I have two pieces from Shades of Grey. I really like the way both pieces look, but I don't think much of the quality. I have one fall jacket with a button front. I had to have all of the buttons resewn as they all either fell off or were in a stage of coming off. The other piece is a pair of shorts and the stitching is coming loose in one place and I pull random threads off of seems all of the time.

Bought a jacket from SoG 2 years ago. Quality was horrible although I think he "restarted" his brand recently or something. Don't know how it is now.

that MMM sweater looks like it would feel like butter

Ahhh, right but I pair them up with other season MMM pieces that I own. Only on SF can these things be considered "boring"

Wait what?

I'm not getting mad over a comment lol. I find it funny actually

I can say that it's hard to find pants with a 6.6 leg opening and I really like the extra seam

I don't think I've read a positive thing about SoG quality. General consensus is nice designs and shit quality that even clothing newbs find inferior, especially for the price tag.

Most of it will just end up in B&S anyway.

I somehow didn't realize it was Shades of Grey. Is that the same thing as Shades of Greige, or are they different brands?

I wouldn't have known that it was Shades of Grey except that it appears in url in the pic link. Not sure about the Grey/Greige diff?

They changed their name a few years back from Griege to Grey

Yeah I have another shirt from them. Fit well out of the box apart from needing to have it cropped (I like my shirts on the short side). Quality seems fine.
