So, I received the Lemaire coat but it hits closer to my lower calves/ankle than knee e.g.

Curious as to whether I should have it shortened. On that note, the RO is also really long and hits at my mid-thigh when worn. I'm just too short

Keep the lemaire get it shortened to your choice and **** the Rick. I think the lemaire considering there's no lower detail or pockets or anything like that sort it should be able to be tailored without effecting the design.

Hidden pockets at the side but beside that you are right. It is very luxe, and though it seems to be staple in his collections I got this for an amazing price. I'll sleep on it.

Lemaire's side zips look good worn, should have given them more consideration when they were on Yoox

^they are nice. wish they had a half sizes. I tried on a 41 and 42, and ended up keeping the 42. Anyone size 41 should keep an eye out on Yoox. The shaft is also quite high FWIW and requires some breaking in
