I thought about that one, too, but it was one of those rare NC pieces that straddles the line between awesome NC and thrifted old man garb a little too closely.

Yeah... Nigel's outerwear is amazing but a lot of his shirting and knits leave something to be desired. No doubt the construction and materials are nice but a lot of it is very boring. That cameraman they had up looks incredible, definitely one of my favorite incarnations of it.

^Hey man! I finally got (and really like) your SNS Herning Naval

Yeah, I would agree that most of the shirts are boring. Some of their knitwear rocks my world (mostly the JP made stuff), like this one I've sadly missed out on. I'll never forgive myself...

Hah! Glad you like it. I'm guessing the sort of "division" in styling is a result of the two different lines(?), but that's just a shot in the dark.

It has more to do with which pieces should be made in the UK (Scottish wool, Harris Tweed, etc) versus Japan (attention to detail, selvage twill, etc.). The two lines complement each other very well, actually.

Raz no hate here, believe me, just genuine interest - did you ever hit your weight goal? Would love to see some fit pics, and hope it's going well. Maybe this is too weird to ask an Internet stranger :-/
