come now, brother Fabric, let us be more constructive and supportive of this blind fellow.

Pray tell, my island-dwelling friend, are you a great supporter of your local champions, Cliftonville F.C. ?

How have you heard of Cliftonville? Haha!! My dad played for Linfield F.C. so my support lies there, although tbh I don't really follow the Irish League too closely these days. Here in Northern Ireland we mainly follow teams from the English Premier League, and I nailed my colours to the Manchester United mast, some years ago now.

“And why is it that you are all dressed as longshoremen?”

“No no, these are guard outfits, we picked them up at j.crew, my design.”

Almost **** my pants when I first thought you got the stuff from Dayton, but then I saw the x WH part

Not sure if you saw, but I ended up taking a refund. Already went through. Kinda sad to finally give up on them, but I already have (and prefer) my Buttero combat boots.

Also, I just bought some Our Legacy side-zips. Surprisingly heavy-duty, really thick calf leather. They'll need some breaking in, but I think we'll have a happy life together.

Yeah, I've always wanted to try these out but wasn't going to cough up the $700+ retail price for them. Saw the Dayton sale come up, but was only going to get the W+H model in nubuck, so it was a while, but finally had a fellow member PM me with a good deal earlier this week, so kopped immediately.

Nice, did you get it from junghans? I have a custom strap made from a WWII british pistol holster for my Stowa Marine Original, cartier is on standard  chain and i've been thinking bout upgrading my stowa seatime from its rubber strap even though its quite nice for rubber and its nice when swimming and sailing. thinking about the da luca horween nato..

I actually got it from Micah at VintagerStraps.com

The 'mauser' model is a popular model by him at Paneristi.com and I specially requested a WWII pouch. The contrast of the mil spec green stitching is awesome in person.

Yeah, I love throwing my PAM on rubber when on the water.

pics for reference, I ordered from PNP and got cordovan guidi 12 hole laceups with the double heel and sole, these are absolutely stellar. The leather is the best they have, the hide they use has a texture that contrasts between a suede/reverse feel and a more smooth leather.

I've placed an order to try. Still in discussion about getting serge non-exports though ... this fumerie turque is tingling my inner orientalist (there goes Said rolling in his grave again)

With the fragrant spring quick approaching, I'm just too excited at the prospects of such osmic adventures.

Know what you mean about the leather. got these a few months back, the leather is just amazing. I'm not that tall, so this height is good enough for me.
