Also (saying the obvious here but) massive sneakers plus 3 quarter pants makes anyone look Moo-like unless they're 6'3" 150lbs. You're right in that i haven't been exposed to much fashiony stuff for that long. I'm working my way through the baller sneaker thread and i feel like i'm starting to develop a bit of a sense of what looks good and why.
Agree that the sneakers would look good with skinny black jeans. When I first tested pairing the sneakers with other items in my closet, my favorite combo was with the DBSS cropped pants. But my 2nd favorite combo was with DBSS skinny washed black denim. The shoes often look best with other DBSS stuff-- no surprise there. You're right that the cropped pants + over sized footwear often makes one look more squat or Moo-like. But since I am very skinny (5'11 140 lbs) with long legs and a short torso (similar to yourself), I sometimes like the effect. Combining the cropped pants with a longer length tee nearly inverts my proportions, making me appear less lanky. But when a wider person such as Moo attempts this, they can often end up looking far too squat. The resulting silhouette is an acquired taste, but it's not very different from what I see a lot skateboarder types wearing. So there is a cultural reference point for this style. And while I shutter at the thought of describing what I'm wearing as skateboard-wear, it's obvious to me that both DBSS and RO have skateboarder influences in their designs. (Or perhaps these brands share a common outside influence that is also shared by skateboard-wear?) I'll likely post some more fit pics involving this concept soon since I find the idea interesting.

Since the girl is obviously inside his home, it's obvious he must know her. Unless he found her at the Whole Foods across the street and propositioned her. nicelynice, I think the Julius leather looks good on you too. I believe it was only because of the zipped-up shot at the weird camera angle that many felt it was too feminine. I don't feel this way about the unzipped shots.

It's so you can wear light colored or suede shoes while riding a motorcycle. The left foot shifting level tends the destroy the top of a pair of shoes very quickly if the shoes are light colored or suede.

He should do that. I fell in love with a girl at whole foods yesterday. Don't think my gf would appreciate me running away to europe somewhere and starting a family in a small town though
