If I've ever needed a reason for my hatred of the New York Times -- and I have many -- this article is one of them. How many nitwits are going to point to that article and say, "See, I am cool."

That's not entirely fair. The Times was kind enough to provide us with a list of so-called designers who are really just insipid finger-in-the-wind hacks whose work can be safely ignored: "Marc Jacobs, Thom Browne, Scott Sternberg of Band of Outsiders, Alexander McQueen, Michael Bastian."

(I already felt that way about Jacobs and Browne, as well as McQueen to some extent. Just add Sternberg and Bastian to the dustbin, which with that dumbass silhouette-logo sweater I already did to some degree with Bastian...)
