Best shopping in Singapore? Planning a trip in March

Hi,

I am planning a shopping trip to Singapore in March. This is my first trip any suggestions?

I am interested in MTM shirts, streetwear and denim for men and women (the wife).

Which stores carry amazing Japanese made clothing? Also, where can I find items like Engineered Garments, Post Overalls, National Anthem, etc...

barking up the wrong city state. There are a few boys here who may be able to provide tailor recs. I made a couple of sorta OK shirts there, but nothing to rave about. Personally all that I buy when I am there is electronics, mostly from Funan Center (prices not that different, less likely to get price raped than Sim Lim, your warranty will actually work etc). Otherwise, not a lot there that you can't find everywhere else.

Thank you for the replies.

I am tagging along on a business trip so the itinerary is set as follows.:

San Francisco - Sydney - Singapore - Sydney- Melbourne - Sydney - San Francisco

Any suggestions for Melbourne or Sydney then?

If it were up to me I would pick HK and Tokyo instead. Next time I suppose.

If you're coming from the US, I think you'll find the prices of both Singapore and Sydney to be extremely inflated on most goods. You can still get cheaper MTM things in Singapore than the US, but for OTR items you'll pay a hefty premium, and you'll pay a premium for both in Melbourne. if I were you, I'd forgo the shopping and just enjoy what's out there, eat their food, drink their booze and just have a great time.
