It actually is pretty damned difficult. Which is why so many people have trouble doing it.

true...in a way, look i am useless when it comes to handyman work, as i dont give a fuck, but i am getting better as i want to learn.Plus the wife gets all wet with guys wearing a handyman belt So i have decided to come up with a contra deal with my village idiot of my brother in law,who is somewhat of a jack of all trades, but nevertheless an imbecile. I am going to help him lose 50 lbs and he is going to teach me the basics of being a handyman bottomline: i am still a useless fuck but he has lost 30lbs wtf moral of the story is its easy if you want to learn the basics

I lost 30 lbs too, but it sure as hell hasn't been easy... and getting any further is proving well nigh impossible the last little bit. And I'm not a dumb guy. If the basics were just "healthy diet and hit the gym regularly", this wouldn't be a problem.

whats your body type, endomorph ? simple rules:1: eat clean, if its processed, avoid or eat in moderation 2: if you cant stop at one cookie/pizza slice....then avoid it altogether by not having it in the house REMOVE THE TEMPTATION 3: eat before your are starving, as this prevents you from making bad decisions and eating 3 big macs 4: have a bottle of water with you...sip throughout out the day as this gives the sensation of been full 5: prepare a day or 2 ahead...keep pantry/fridge stocked up with healthy choices 6: students who have a hectic lifestyle can make patties with chicken breast/lean red meat mince and can be eaten cold, nuts, fruits etc

When I was in preschool, I didn't know how to tie my shoes so I just wrapped the laces around my ankes and tied a double knot.

no , i am a 36 yr old father of 2 who in the past has been both skinny and a fattie, smoked 2 packs of cigs and 1-1 1/2 bottles of scotch a day, not to mention fighting the dreaded lowering of ones testosterone levels that most men approaching middle age have to battle with

and yet, i still look hot all year round, ok

good thread tell us more tips, otter. i am particularly good at the one about keeping shit out of the house, and the one about avoiding unprocessed food, and the one about constantly drinking water (except for me it's tea) maybe that's why im not fat actually but i still have problems. like for example, i cant bring myself to really exercise regularly. WHIP ME INTO FUCKING SHAPE, otter!

Otter, please stop "shouting". It's really obnoxious. This is coming from me as a mod.

Fok.

p.s., I'm 35, and my problem is the opposite of oman. I workout a fair bit, with a lot of it HIIT stuff, as well as some weights, and a lot of bodyweight exercises (weighted dips, deadhang pullups, power pushups, etc...) as well as martial arts workouts (mma and bjj, so full contact and full force), but I love me my cake and pasta. In my 20's and up to about 30, I was really lean, down to about 7% bodyfat at several points, and strong for my size (150-155 lbs), so it's not like I don't know what it takes to be in that type of shape. But, and ymmv (and obviously does) the decrease in quality of life (I want chicken cacciatore, not a bland chicken breast, and I want tiramisu, not fruit, for desert) is not worth it for me.
