No additional outlays. Just using old, unused monitor as the second. First monitor is also several years old.

My main monitor is 24". The left side has the internet, the right has word (or whatever). I have moved email and "incidentals" (ie solitaire) to the new monitor off to the right.

I can't work without it. Once you get used to it there's no going back.

I recently got this at work. Although mine is really my laptop screen on a docking station with a separate monitor. I love it. Can work with two open documents at the same time. Very nice.

Might try to kop a second monitor for home now.

Same here. I've had a two-monitor set-up for several years, and now can't work well without it.

What, everyone has two monitors? I have only read about people doing this, I don't think I have ever seen it.

But, as a general matter, yes, I am behind the times and older in soul than in body.

I am also wearing a huge camel hair shawl collar cardigan and hobo fingerless gloves.

Expensive.

Long ago, I had two computers on a single monitor. You tapped the control key twice to switch between them. I thought it was pretty neat, but I've never done the two-displays thing.
