Previous Small Questions Thread (up to Feb. 3, 2010) can be found here: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=33849 ------------------------------- i need a beater shoe and will buy some converse. currently choosing between high top chucks and purcells. leaning towards the purcell but heard somewhere that the hightop chuck makes for better draping of trousers. any truth to this? thats pretty much the only reason i'm considering the chucks.

I'm sure these will be released again for SS10. They were a big hit. Alternatively, Gilt's having a BoO sale soon (probably during February), and they've sold BoO boat shoes in the past.

Draping of trousers? Will you hear your high-top Chucks with trousers? With jeans either looks fine. Purcells have a slightly preppier vibe. Buy whichever one you like (or, hell, get some Stan Smiths).

Why would you buy it? Have you tried it on before?

I could prob get an insert in the 7s if they were lower profile like those slim gel inserts or something but i dunno if that would be enough?
Not familiar with inserts in Chucks, but in general I hate walking around in Chucks. I buy Purcells solely b/c they have inserts (and don't destroy your knees), and use my Chucks for weightlifting.

CCCP-Shirts.com

Anyone ever deal with this website or heard anything about it?

Legit or safe?

(It's for a Ukrainian t-shirt BTW.... Not going to walk around with an actual hammer & sickle on my chest lol)

Thanks, I thought I was doing that. I will make sure I am using a direct link. I usually use photobucket but was trying to picaso....thought I had the direct link.

(Edit: This, um, IS the 'small questions' thread. Heh )

When you post there, can you give the forum a better idea of jackets you've seen that you like? Also, some idea of cuts, materials, colors, and how you plan to use this jacket and where you live?

Otherwise (and I mean this sincerely) you'll get a series of really smarmy, wiseassed replies, in which I'll participate, and you'll go away feeling used and upset. And you won't have gotten a helpful answer either. It's just how things work here.
