They seem like plain derbies but they have a lower heel than usually. Was hoping to spend around 200 Euros, Thanks a lot!

I haven't posted on here in ages, but I do finally have a question. I bought some RRL chinos last summer and have beat the hell out of them while traveling around Italy (see: sentimental value). Unfortunately, I ripped the knee (drunk) and there are two holes beginning to form in the ass from where the pocket bags rub against the chino material. Are there any online shops that offer fixes (a la Denim Therapy—I haven't researched this that much, but they did a pretty bang-up job on an ex-girlfriend's PBJs, so I'm using them as an equivalent) for such things? I'd love to just go to a tailor, but I'm a broke college student in bumfuck NC who doesn't really know of any and has had trouble finding one. If you know good tailors in the Charlotte/Raleigh/Chapel Hill area, I'd love to hear about them too...

Can't find them in a US9 Mens anywhere. I would just pay half the price for regular converse lows, but the white stitching really bugs me for some reason.

I would tentatively say go for a 31, but it really depends.  Whether the jeans are STF, raw (a.k.a. dry), and other factors play a role in what waist you should go for.  I've even heard of people buying multiple pairs of the same product from Levis with each pair of jeans having a slightly different waist.  My recommendation would be to go in and try it on in a store first or make your purchase from a site that offers free returns or exchanges.

 

Nothing is for certain when settling a dispute on PayPal.  First off, I would make sure to make the payment as a payment of goods and not a personal gift, although the latter will save the buyer 3-4% from PayPal fees.  Additionally, write down what you are sending the payment for in the description box when sending the funds on the PayPal website, and I would get him to provide a tracking number, signature confirmation and/or insurance.  You could also take a video of you opening the box once it's delivered.  This would provide you with a good argument when making a case if something were to go wrong.  Hope that helps.

If he pulls the money before you file a claim, even when paypal sides with you, I believe there are instances where paypal will tell you they can't refund you since his account doesn't have a sufficient balance.

 

I was in a situation like this a few years ago.

 

I had sold an online gaming account and withdrew the money as soon as it was available. The buyer then filed a false dispute, once he had all the login info etc etc., claiming I had not delivered on my end (I had). Since the balance was $0.00 on my Paypal, Paypal just took me into the negative, so he did receive a refund, from them, not from me.

 

In the end, I paid Paypal back and recovered my account by making many customer support phone calls. So it was as if the transaction had never happened as I had neither lost nor gained any money and my account was, luckily, secured.

 

I have lost disputes before where I thought I would obviously win. I bought a memory card off of eBay and received a fake. Despite providing, in my opinion, adequate evidence proving the card was fake and the seller's numerous other complaints, I still never received my $40 back.

 

$2500 is hefty amount to gamble with.

TRICKERS shoes, how do they run?  Narrow or wide?  Size up or size down?  If you're a __ in say Converse by John Varvatos or a __ in Clarks original desert boots you should take a __ in Trickers.  Not a quiz, just need some advice.  :)
