I think you must be misusing the term formal wear because nobody is going to need formal wear when backpacking through Europe, and if they do they won't be wearing Clark's. Or maybe I'm getting leveled.

Formal wear = A tuxedo, or in the loosest definition a suit and tie.

simple answer is:

no

Anyone know who designs Burberry London? Not Prorsum (Christopher Bailey). I couldn't find this info anywherere. I have a BLondon coat made in italy, and was curious as to who designs it. The tag indicates that it was made by Belvest.

Hi, this is a leather type commonly found in timberland shoes and boots, it looks like nubuck a bit or oiled leather, this is a type of leather that easily scratches and leave marks that you can erase if you pass your finger over the scratch. In the add says full grain leather but is not something you cam clean with regular shoe cream.

Would anyone knows exactly what type of leather if this and how to clean this? suede style or not etc.

I just got my first pair of good shoes, a pair of Allen Edmonds chukkas. I used to wear Clark's DBs. They're rather uncomfortable: they hurt my knees and heels, and my back as well. Does this get better with time? Also, the left shoe is a little small and rubs onto my smaller toes. Will they take the shape of my foot with wear? Can something be done?
They're also a little too shiny for my taste (ideally, I would have gone for suede). What products can help? Thanks.

It's Chris Bailey. He designs for Burberry and Burberry Prorsum.

Sounds like pretty much everything about the shoe isn't to your liking then? Why did you buy them?

Depending on sizing, some amount of tightness and breaking in should be expected...if you don't generally experience pain in your knees, heels and back from shoes, I'd talk to the service associate you bought them from about how or why that'd be the case. That's not normal.

The shininess...I'm again at a loss, why did you buy them if you didn't like the fit and material? Kinda sounds like you just bought them because they're AE and purportedly 'good shoes', likely on ebay or something?

I need some good leather care for this jacket (it looks dryer in the picture than it really is). What is the best product if I want to darken the jacket as little as possible?

Are you looking for a ribbon belt or a cotton webbing belt? What colours are you looking for and what would you be wearing with them?
