FWIW, the guy did not mention having them dry-cleaned, but washed and pressed.
"Flimsy" would be a nice way to put it.

You're being nice.

My typical casual wear is dark brown boots, slim jeans, and a jacket (brown or navy blazer, brown leather jacket, navy parka). I'd like to throw in some off-white t shirts. My question is: can greyish shirts go with my brown jackets, and can sandy shirts go with blue jackets?

Thanks for reposting that so many times; only on the 5th post did I truly understand your question.

I have shipped shoes there twice. Sold a couple of pairs on Ebay and lol if the same guy didn't win both auctions and they were several weeks apart too. Used Priority mail international or something. Cost about $35 and had no issues.

Where can I find quality basic white tees that will ship to Portugal?

It wasn't clear to me what the 'ewww' was about until I reread what I said...by not cleaned in weeks, I mean exactly that--having not taking them to the cleaners in weeks. Realistically, that would have meant wearing them twice maybe three times at most, not wearing every day for weeks.

I am about to start backpacking around Europe for 3 months. How many pair of shoes should I bring? I'm thinking 3 - pair of hiking/snow boots, Clarks Desert Boot and Spring courts. Do you think that is too much? The boots are kinda heavy...

I'd leave the Clark's home. Hiking boots would be enough by themselves, but the spring courts give you a nice change of pace. No need for 3.

But I want to use the Clarks for formal wear...

I don't know how you can link Clarks with Northface jackets.

I don't know how you can link Clarks with formalwear. I don't really have a problem with Clarks, but they're a pretty casual boot.

+1

I tend to pair fairly casual shoes with slightly more formal english style country wear, and as far as I'll go with desert boots (or any classic clarks) is brown tweed pants.
