Can you guys recommend good running shoes? Budget around $US100 or lower and preferably in a minimalist style...Was going to buy Asics Kayano but they look damn ugly. I know it's just for running but I am also thinking of using it to travel to europe for a few months as comfortable shoes for general walking and hiking.

Please anyone (my questions always gets ignored)?

Could someone recommend me a casual shoe for bar/club wear that is:

- brown in color
- casual enough to be worn with jeans
- cheap (< $150 ), since they will be stepped on, spilled on, and generally destroyed
- rubber sole since I'm in the northeast and they'll deal with snow. Also will probably be better in sticky bars

I have a pair of AE Strands in brown, but can't bring myself to wear them to at least 70% of bars that I go to because they would be destroyed.

What type of fit are you looking for? There are a bunch of types that support different types of feet. If you can go into a specialty running they can fit you properly and most shoes are ~$100 or less

From measurements, I'm guessing you're XS. They seem to run oversized. I think I'd wear an XS, and I'm 5'11" and 157 lbs.

Looking at a pair of nonnative pants that are only available in size 2. What's a size 2 in terms of waist or any other relevant measurement?

Don't, go to Zara instead if you're looking at that level

Am I missing something with the search function? If i type something in the big search bar at the top, it brings up a bunch of threads, all the big ones. But then I don't see how to go to specific posts that include my search results. If I click on a "result" it just takes me to the first post of that thread. If I then search within that thread, it shows no results. What's going on?

I know this shirt is too short, but I'd like to know how short you guys think it is. How much longer should I get shirts from now on? 2 inches? 3?

hey guys,

I need a new pair of black shoes, but not sure what type/style to get. They'll be worn with chinos (sometimes jeans) and a casual buttondown (or sweater). Plus I'll be wearing them often so comfort is a necessity. I think dress shoes might be too formal and not comfortable, while sneakers would be too casual. Loafers? I just need something that looks sharp (as opposed to most loafers which I think might make a college student look old)

Thanks for replies in advance.

I remember seeing a popular sweater around here.. Completely forgot what it's called or who makes it, but it's blue either at the top or bottom, and it gets gradually whiter and whiter as it gets to the opposite side. The blue morphs into white as it moves up/down the sweater.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Robert Geller dip-dye?

Yes! I'm pretty sure that's it. Is it still being sold? A quick google search suggests otherwise.. They also seem to make it in other colors and in dress shirts as well; I'm interested in the sweater only.

thanks, btw.
