I would wait around for TOJ to make them again.

Apologies, I often forget we work in USD around here. More likely around 150 GBP, so more like $300...

That's actually really nice. Normally I would only go for a leather wallet, but that has a cool look to it.

Edges look unfinished to me. And thanks for the suggestions.

If all you want is denim, they're easy enough to make if you have a machine that can handle it (or the patience to hand-sew). The leather would make it more of a pain

My friend was trying to give me a hard time about the shoes I was wearing. I was wearing brown shoes with jeans and a grey sweater. Is that really so bad? He told me shoes should match your shirt or hat which I think is fucking ridiculous. How do you go about matching shoes with whatever else you are wearing? I don't mean dress clothes, just casual streetwear.

On the topic of varsity jackets;

Does CKM do one offs for varsity jackets? Also, how is fit on the CKM jackets?

Anyone know if there will be another run of the ToJ0 before it gets to retail quantities?

Thanks

I wear a 8.5 US sneaker size. Does that convert to 7.5 UK boot size?

Depends on the boot and the sneaker, no generalizations

in sizing nicer shoes (non-sneakers), is a little bit of heel slip normal?

I normally wear a US11 in sneakers, and i recently bought a couple pairs to try on. I sized down to a 10 in a pair of floresheim for duckie browns and they fit my foot, with a little bit of heel slip, but the leather rubbed against my ankle strangely, so wasn't very comfortable. needless to say, the size 11 had a lot of heel slip, so I returned both.

I have a pair of alden x epaulet boots in a 10.5 on the barrie last, and they don't slip at all, but they're higher laced boots, so, not a very good base case.

also, is there any way to fix heel slip? by say.. using an insole?

thanks

you can proxy some from yahoo auctions japan. and if you just want more loopwheeler stuff, you can look around zozo.jp. there's tons of different colors and styles there, just be aware that sizing will be Japanese, which tends to be a lot shorter in length and a lot more slim fitting. zozo has sizing charts though, if you need measurements in inches just divide by 2.54. let me know if you need help reading the measurement charts.

also, if you do decide to proxy, i recommend hide-san with sharpservice. I've ordered from him tons of times and he has very fast responses, keeps you up to date, and ships fast.
