What do you think of this look? Also can you spot what he's wearing underneath? It doesn't seem to be a T-shirt, but it doesn't seem to be another polo either. Thanks!

Care to elaborate? I don't have a clue about fashion, but I thought it looked kinda fresh.

Just got given a pair of these by my old man (He finds them too tight but they're fine on me), but have absolutely no idea what to wear them with. I'm not expecting them to be the most versatile shoes in the world as far as SW&D is concerned but I'd like to get some wear out of them.

A henley is essentially a polo without the collar, good for layering, but very poorly done in this case. One of the many problems with the look is the popped collar and sunglasses. Gives off a very fratboy vibe that not many are into, myself included.

can anyone point me to some shorts similar to j.crew's 9" broken-in chino shorts?

I see. Personally I like the layered look a lot, wearing just a polo would look too plain in my opinion.

Popped collars make you look like a douche, I get it
Still, if you put the collar in order and get rid of the glasses, what would you think? But from what I read, polos aren't terribly popular on this forum, am I right?

you wont get much love for that outfit, its just a polo shirt and cargo shorts, pretty much typical bro attire.

imo he should ditch the henley, switch the cargo pants out for straight leg khakis and either put the shades on or put them away
