I have a multi-city trip coming up and I want to stop by the Barney's in either San Francisco or Las Vegas. Anybody have an opinion one way or the other as to which is better?

I went to a BB outlet store at Calgary a few months ago, and noticed that everything was made in Malaysia. Was a bit surprised, since I come from Malaysia

I'm looking for lightweight, slim fit black casual pants that won't be too hot for Houston summers. Preferably, I'd like a traditional chino design but in a tech fabric. <$150 preferably. I've been looking at outlier, but would like other, preferably cheaper suggestions. Thanks

Oak Street Boot Makers Hunt boot?

or

Yuketen?

Price plays a minor factor but so does the 6 week wait for Oak Street. Thanks.

do you mean the cotton canvas/duck ones?

I think you need to try it on, or order a couple of different sizes. Reason I say this is that I tried a 32 (TTS) and it was tight...but then a 33 was huge. then I tried a 32 in the color I didn't want, and it fit...so I think the problem is QC as much as vanity sizing. The SA told me as much after I pointed out the huge gap between tagged sizes.

I couldn't be bothered to go to another AA store to try to find a 32 that fit in the color i wanted even tho there's about 900 AA's in NYC.

Feel free to recommend anything that might be better.

I bought my wife a NOS Hamilton military watch for about $200 and change. That's my recommendation. Of course if you want a watch that actually keeps time I'd go for the repro model Hamilton you linked to.

i got a pair of 3sixteens and have been wearing them everyday for about 2.5months. But the thighs are still a bit tight for me.

Is there a way to stretch them out a bit more?? I heard about dampening them and then wearing them. How does this work?

anyone deal with long wait times before receiving a refund? i made a purchase from an international shop that had to be refunded (item was found damaged before shipping) and it's been about 4 weeks since then and still haven't received it. emailed them and was only told that it would take a while. should i be worried?

but if you have to, get a pair of suede bucks, red sole, and color you want (eg caramel?)

This. Suede bucks SVB or something along the lines of the Alden snuff suede flext welt chukka which are great for both work and play.

Also, you should get some other sneaks in your rotation other then those vans you rock, white or off-white (ecru-ish). You don't have to drop any serious cash, but try some Supergas or some Stan Smiths or Rod Lavers (I keep saying it, but these are a nicely priced pair of beaters).
