Jack Straw, Nordstroms (Downtown has a large selection of Margiela and Rag & Bone, some DSquared, Varvatos, Burberry, Marni, etc. along with Paul Smith shoes and Bellevue Square has Dries van Noten, Rag & Bone, Balenciaga, and a few others), Blue Owl (by appointment only, but tons of great Japanese clothing brands exclusive to them and lots of denim)
I need recommendations on a vest similar to the Filson Mackinaw Vest in terms of not having a silk/satin back lining....however I would like more of the traditional shape of a 3-piece suit vest and not the square bottom on the Filson. Preferable the suggestion is cheaper than the Filson vest, or you could just direct me to a cheap filson vest (grey). Suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Hi good folks of SF.
I've been stomped on this question for a while now.
I tried to do a bit of a search online but i couldn't find one like my case.
So I bought a pair of Thinn Fins about 8 months ago and they were a size 31. After everyday wear, they seem to have either stretched alot or i have lost alot of weight (which i think i did).
About a month and a half ago, i bought a pair of A.P.C new cures in size 29 and have worn them alot. They are still quite tight to a point where there are no wrinkles around the thighs (but there are crotch whiskers and i dont mind the tightness)
Now my question is, i REALLY want to get a pair of thinn finn dry black coated but i dont know f i should go for a size 30, or a size 31. If i go size 30, i'm afraid i wont be able to fit them at all, and if i go size 31, i'm afraid they'll stretch too much.
I'd say go for 30. My nudies stretched a lot. But I guess it depends on whether the 31's you bought before have stretched too far or whether you like where they are at. If the 31's stretched too far, then why buy another pair of 31's?
which shirt is of better quality, the new BrooksCool® Extra-Slim Fit Washed Oxford Sport Shirt from brooks brothers or the custom fit oxford from ralph lauren? They are about the same price. Which would be shorter? I intend to wear them untucked.
