John Varvators herringbone jacket. Is it slim fitted? Available for about 200 USD, would you buy it? Is the mandarin collar out of fashion?

Is it going to fit slim? Or be too big?
If it says "tailored fit" in the description, (which it does) it will fit fairly slim. The sizing is pretty big though, I'm 6'2, 180 with a 39" chest and 32" waist and I wear a medium in J. crew shirts.

Well, I can tell you that I am about 6'1, 195lbs with an athletic build and I fit most brands in a size L. However, I would fit a size XL in BOO because of their already slim fits.

Based on your measurements, L should be sufficient for you.

Is it better to hang, fold, or roll t-shirts? The cheap ones I wear as undershirts I just roll, but should I hang t shirts I wear outside to avoid wrinkles? Will it stretch out the neck? T-shirts I wear outside are normally ringers or graphic tees. I use velvet hangers. Thanks in advance.

I've never had a hanger hurt a tee shirt, and I hang all mine that aren't undershirts, but a velvet hanger seems like a fancy-ass way to go. Use 'em if you got 'em

any shopping recommendations in the sf- south sf area for shopping for upscale consignment or discount shopping? (Nordstrom rack, nm last call etc). I'm here for the week and need some places to kill time. Am planning a self edge visit which may deplete any expendable cash, but just in case...

Recommend me some decent mid-tier brand shorts, preferably plain colours, navy, beige, khaki, black, though decent madras or pattern i will not refuse.

You can't go wrong with J. Crew's club shorts.

I guess depends on which shoe, in my experience yes, although I got away with downsizing .5

yes.

If the site won't let you, try calling. I think they'll even credit you the shipping and let you return (once or twice..) if it's too late.

What is people's experience w/ collar shirts from Martin + Osa? I know they are owned by American Eagle (main reason I am hesitant) but some ppl have given their stuff the OK. I'm just looking at a Broken-In Straight Collar Shirt and some of the shirts they have on sale. Also, I'd appreciate it if someone can give me an idea of their sizing as they don't mention sizing measurements. I'm 5'7.5 140 and don't know whether their XS or S would fit best. Many thanks.
