Is it a good look to wear cropped casual pants with low socks and sneakers? I almost always see people wearing them sockless. And is it a faux-pas to wear cropped pants at night?

Jeans. 2 folds or no fold?

Finally broke out my Wings + Horns cashmere tees (like 15% cashmere or something). The label says don't wash/dry clean only. I'm not about to dry clean some tees. Tips online point to some techniques but they seems pretty intense. My question is - CAN I wash them in the machine (obviously cold water/gentle cycle/air dry) without any major issues?

Anyone familiar with a Japanese denim brand named Kuro? Will be in Tokyo in May for work and may have some time to wonder around and hopefully pick up some interesting things. So I came across the brand. No idea from their website what their prices are like $200 is my max for jeans).

If it doesn't ring a bell, any stores I should try to stop in?

Use a weak detergent and wash in a mesh laundry bag. That should be near equivalent to handwashing, which is fairly safe.

Fold. Uncuffed they look way too much like jeggings.

check out the T-shirt sections at Blue in Green.

I'm 5'4" with a athletic frame that likes a perfect fitting, not too long shirt. I have found excellent luck with Samurai heavy weight loop wheeled ones.
also the Real McCoys and Studio D'Artisan T-shirt are going to work for you as well.
non of them come cheap. but the quality is something that is very special.
best of luck

I was going to invest in some allen edmonds Carlyle shoes while their sale is going on. I know about basic maintenance (shoe trees and rotating shoes so you let the leather rest) but I walk a lot in my job and am not confined to a desk all day so my shoes get a work out. Is it not worth it to wear expensive shoes then and should they be saved for special occasions?

Allen Edmonds are not really considered expensive shoes around here … and on sale they are a bargain. Buy them and wear them! Good shoes are the foundation of any outfit and why skimp on something that will trouble you if you are uncomfortable? It's like saving money on discount tires for a decent vehicle…. not particularly recommended.

You may also consider AE factory seconds … they're cheap (meaning inexpensive, not crappy).

Gentle machine cycle as recommended above or simple hand wash. It's a myth cashmere is dry clean only.

Hey guys, asked this in CP thread as well - any (reasonably accessible) recommendations for how to clean raw denim stains off white sneakers (in my case, CP Achilles)?
Was going to try some neutral shoe polish but if there's a better recommendarion, please advise. Thanks!

Fancy picking up a pair of Earl's fatigues but shipping to Europe sort of negates the low price. These guys only ship using UPS meaning I'm looking at a hefty $50 shipping cost. Alternatives?

Hey guys, just wondering whether this suede colour combo will work or not. What do you think?
