tiny bit short but you wouldn't want the shoulders any bigger

Thanks, I've heard others say it stretches out quite a but with wear so I think I might be alright on the torso length.

What would you call one of these?

AppleMark

A wool coach jacket is all i could come up with. Is there another term? An american word for them?

It's perfect. Perhaps pull the torso down a bit … it will stretch/break in 1/2 an inch or so as you wear it. No worries. fing02[1].gif

lolwut? If anything it's just ever so slightly too big (for my tastes/fit at least)… look at the length of the arms and extra fabric in the back. But actually it's fine, you're not looking for a trim, form-fitting look so it's just right. If anything I'd hand wash it once, 1/2 machine dry on delicate and block it flat to dry the remainder. That will tighten it up a bit and make it look better… it's too box fresh. smile.gif

And just generally speaking to knits and sizing, I've found it pretty easy in the past (depending on the material of course), to stretch out a sweater that is slightly too small, or wash and dryer-shrink one down that was a bit too baggy. Obviously some care needs to be taken, but here and there it's worked for me.

@Streettrash thanks, i know it's a type of varsity but want to know if there's a name for this particular type i.e with collars and no waist ribbing.

Does anyone know how to wash a mccoy sweatshirt? Lost my care tag. Was thinking cold hand wash, but is there any detergent product that I should avoid using?

Thanks

@wanksy you don't need to handwash, i just use the quick wash setting at 30 degrees in the machine. Use any regular detergent knowing that you only need a fraction of the amount that the manufacturers recommend.

Too big? Return?

I don't post here often but I read time to time as the advice can be really helpful.

I work in a "creative" field. Technology - web and mobile software development. Traditional tailoring is overkill, business causal is too bland and streetwear is too casual. To compound things, I'm in southern california, where the general ppopulation tends toward extremely casual dress.

I'm having a hard time putting together a good set of shoes to wear. I have suede chukkas and some sneakers on the smarter side.

What other kind of foot wear works well in this climate / industry.

Looks OK to me. Maybe the sleeves are a little long. Where do you think it is big? Personally, it looks a little too cropped in the torso.

does that white shirt underneath fit you well? if so, the jacket is a size small/short. if the shirt fits you big/long then the jacket might fit. theres just too much contrast that makes the jacket look short as hell.

also, a full body pic would be better to tell if it fits you or not

What do you wear with a B3 shearling bomber jacket?

Okay, I'll get a better pic with a different shirt. I wasn't worried about the length, actually. I was more concerned about the width of the shoulders.

I bough my first sweater. It's a full zip wool sweater.Any tips on taking care of sweaters? I'm guessing you'd fold and not hang knits because they might stretch, but do you wash them yourself or take them to a dry cleaner?

Duh.
