thanks for the tip. unfortunately only 2 clean black design exist within my price range, diesel and cheap monday. I don't know about the quality of those. i am now interested in this: http://blueowl.us/product/naked-and-famous-slow-vintage-natural-fiber-hoodie/# but I'm not sure if it's worth it to spend $250 for a hoodie.

Does Zara have any specific articles of clothing that tend to be decent quality? I love their style (and I'm a student so its on the higher end of what I can afford), yet the quality is awful.  All of the pieces I've purchased there have deteriorated and I feel like I can't shop there anymore.

From my experience, no.
If fast fashion is really the only option that id say Uniqlo is the best. But they aren't as "on trend" as Zara (which I actually think is good). But really, think of all the money you've wasted cos the cheap stuff has fallen apart, that could've been out towards something more expensive but better quality.

I actually went to a Zara store yesterday to check out the spring stuff (lookbook seemed promising). Almost all of it felt and looked terrible. Some of the items were marked with a tag (think it was called black star or something?), which I think was supposed to be slightly better quality, but was still pretty bad. Crazy considering the price is quite a bit higher than H&M.

Only thing I almost bought was a basic cotton/silk/cashmere jumper and one shirt.

On a related note, this season COS is also very boring and unattractive so far.

Thanks for the response, @Timbaland. I really appreciate it!

Tried it with a white shirt loosely tucked and then with a henley. Any better or do you think I'm better off returning the jacket or maybe having it tailored? Thanks!!

It's too big, see how it's hanging off the shoulders and the fabric is bunching up under the arms? I'd look for one in a size down.

This immediately comes to mind because I've been strongly thinking about copping for about a month.

You'll laugh at the brand, but I just got this and it's pretty damn cool.

Anyone know where I would be able to find this suit, besides eBay?
