Anybody knows how much it will cost approximately to ship a sweater from NY to Canada?

Looking to sell something to another user in the forum.

Hi Everyone!

I am new to this forum and posted on the intro forum too. I came across this forum browsing on Google searching men's fashion style. I am a middle class income guy who works ALOT with a 11 month old baby, so quite obviously I don't have the time to shop. My wardrobe is long overdue for updates and looking for good quality brands for reasonable prices. Does anyone know of any online stores that offer great deals but provides quality brands? It does not need to be name or premium brands, I would be okay with new labels or niche areas. Thanks!

Probably around 15-20 dollars. More if you want tracking and insurance.

I would strongly recommend Uniqlo.  They have a really great quality-to-price ratio and a good return policy.

You'd recommend Uniqlo to someone in their (guessing) 30's for suits? Serious question. I've never handled their goods so I'm honestly curious because I pop through NYC often enough to check them out!

Thanks! I just checked them out and their prices are very reasonable, exactly what I am looking for! Thanks again!

Sure.  I'd recommend the cotton oxford shirts and merino v-necks.

I haven't handled their suits but I've heard good things.  I have a linen blazer and it's ok... not comparable to designer clothes but the fit isn't bad.

Is this coming from experience or a guess?

Hey, question about B&S. I purchased a pair of denim from another member several weeks ago. I sent him money via paypal (which he refunded because said he had a new account and needed it as a gift. I sent it same day as a gift). He took several weeks to ship but finally let me know that he's shipped the jeans, but does not have tracking. He also sent me a message saying that since he was shipping from Europe, he doesn't have tracking (I know this is BS, I order from End all the time).

He sent me a message 3 weeks ago saying if the jeans don't arrive for any reason, he'll refund me the money. The jeans haven't arrived, and he has been ignoring all my messages.

What's my next step?

I mailed an SC from boston to canada and it was about 20 bucks. I figured a sweater might be less due to weight, but I think it should be in that ballpark for the slowest shipping. You can also try the USPS calculator on their website if you have the zipcode.

Probably outing the member if they don't get here soon. International tracking is expensive though delivery confirmation isn't TOO bad.

Taking over 3 weeks to ship something is sketchy. I usually try to ship within a week at worst if I've accepted money. The way I see it, you accept payment when you're about ready to ship.

You're fucked, don't ever send gift payments to someone you don't trust.  Please report it to the site administrators though.  I would also suggest reporting it to paypal; they're unlikely to help since you broke their TOS but they may suspend the person's account.

I'm looking for a pair of black chelsea boots in a size 8 or 8.5 US in the 100-200 range (less is better though I'll pay for quality). Any suggestions? I've been scouring yoox and asos for a few weeks, but apparently I suck at it.
