Looking for a black, 2-eyelet, chukka boot. Have looked at Alden's various offerings, but I'd prefer something a bit more sleek. Ideas where to start?

I want some casual shoes/boots that are water proof. i Was thinking waterproof desert boots or red wings.

Any suggestions?

PS. I am new to the whole boots thing. So, if the boots can be subtle that would be great.
I could start a whole thread on this shift from a warmer to a more rugged climate. Choosing the appropriate garments etc. that I am sure can help other people as well. Were would be a place to put it?

What type of winter jacket / coat would go best with a Red Wing #875 boot?  Would a navy peacoat be a mis-match?

26" back length is crazy short for a blazer with a 19" pit-to-pit measurement, right?
