1) Can this jacket work in a business setting, ie worn under a dress shirt, dress pants, brown/black shoes? Even on sale, it's around $250, so I'm not sure if it's worth it. This would be my go-to winter jacket.

EDIT (for some reason, when you click on the link, it goes to the wrong jacket, but if you copy and paste the link, it goes to the correct link) In case you can't find it, it's the "SNORKEL" jacket for $348, but can be had for around $250 with the deal.

2) How does this compare to the EP jacket that retails for $400.

I'm looking for a winter jacket and initially wanted a Canda Goose jacket but I decided to stay away because of the CG emblem on the sleeves. I'm only interested in parkas at this point. Are there any other brands I should check out? It has to be slim-fitted with a navy colorway.

Hey guys, do you think suede boots qualify as business casual? Something like this maybe?

I'm thinking about getting some plain toe or wingtip boot suede boots. Usually people are wearing loafers where I am so that is about the amount of formality. I was thinking about pairing them with chinos and an oxford with a vneck sweater. What do you guys think? Also, are Indy boots out of question for business casual?

Do J Crew sweaters pill as bad as everyone claims they do?

I wear those exact plain toes from LS as well as indies with chinos, OCBDs and sweaters as business casual. My office is super laid back though so YMMV.

NEED SOME SELVEDGE DENIM HELP!  I have my first pair of selvedge jeans and I was wondering if I should soak them before wearing?  I've heard some people do that and I assume it's to take out any excess dye in the jeans.  Any thoughts?

Selvedge does not mean raw !

Correct.  They are however raw.

If they are sanforized(like most raw denim) a soak is unnecessary. If they are unsanforized (shrink to fit) soak is important.

In the world of denim, un-sanforized denim is referred to as raw denim.

JFC Isa you are clueless. Raw denim can be sanforized.

They're Gap jeans if anyone has any experience.  Website says raw, but not on garment.  I assume a soak won't hurt either way.

Correct, a soak won't hurt.

if you're trying to get high contrast fades, then don't soak
