Hey guys, I'm looking to invest in a pair of Joggers and buy my first pair of boots. What are some suggestions? For the joggers I would like a slight drop crotch (no diaper), and the boots to be not extremely tall but more than a chukka.

I've been looking at American Stitch Triblends but don't know how well the sweats mix with a boot.

Thanks!

Looking to shorten functional button sleeves. How much length separation is necessary from the end of the sleeves to the first button hole? Will half an inch suffice?

Sorry misread your post. LP will definitely darken the boots. The darkening will lessen as you wear it in. If you want something that won't darken the boots you need something else. I think snoseal fits the bill.

Thanks!  I went with Montana Pitch Blend Dressing.  Spoke with the owner directly.  Very helpful and excellent customer service!

What's your price range on both?

I have the Publish joggers and they fit great and reasonable price ($88). Warning though, they often sell out fast so keep an eye on their website or Hypebeast for restock.

For chukkas, I really like these ones: http://www.mrporter.com/product/413443

If I'm trying to identify a jacket from a picture I have from a fashion blog, where would be the best place to post it?

Hi!            I was wearing this

Is this pattern considered a "winter" pattern, because it is red, white and green?  I personally didn't think so, but someone said it did and then I thought they may be right....

I  think it would be cool to wear it in the evening, but not in the mornings. Cool to wear it somewhere with lots of autumn trees and colors. Somewhere with lots of forest, but not by the ocean or in the city unless the sun is nowhere in sight. But I dont know if:

Can I wear this patter in California, in the city and along the coast when its in the mid 60's? Whether the sun is shining or its raining?

Visually is it appropriate?  Teach me, sensei(s)!

Teach me pl0x. I am new to wearing anything but the neutral colored hoodies, and deep reds that compliment my skin color.

Anyways, I was wondering when and how you determine the patterns you wear.

I like to match my surroundings ie. its 80+ in the winter I would wear a summer/spring shirt.

Hey guys, this is my first post. I've been trying to search to see if I could find an appropriate thread but I had no luck and I didn't want to start a new one without double checking.

My wardrobe is currently not good, just a whole bunch of random stuff, so I'm trying to start by buying some basics. I went to a store nearby yesterday and tried on a bunch of clothes to see what looked good. But I want to get some second (+) opinions on the fit of the items I tried on. I didn't buy anything, wanted to learn a bit more first. Where would be the best place to post those pictures? Or would it be alright to just start a new thread? I know some communities can get pretty annoyed by that so I'm just being extra careful.

This thread could work or there's also a WAYWT thread. Just say in advance that you're asking for help and opinion or otherwise some guys on the WAYWT thread might rip on you pretty mercilessly.

Ok great!

Well a little background, I'm a short, big guy. I'm about 5'6 or 5'7 and I weigh a little over 190 pounds. (Working on getting that down, as most would say haha). Most of that unfortunately lies in my legs and bum. This is really an issue for me. I am very self-conscious about my butt and I almost feel like I have more of an hourglass figure so I've avoided "well fitting" clothes for a long time, but I got tired of looking sloppy so I went to the store to try on some clothes. I've heard a lot about slim, dark denim, so that's what I got. But I didn't feel so comfortable so I went and tried on some straight cut jeans in the same store. The shirt is a Medium Slim Fit, the large was way too big in the arms and length, so I went down a size, though this felt a bit tight too.

So what do you guys think? Is the shirt fit alright? And which jeans look better on me, Slim or Straight? Was my sample outfit a decent beginners choice?

Thanks!

James.

36 Straight

36 Slim

38 Straight (Pair I own)

Also, is this shirt a proper fit?

Alright, thanks, hope that wasn't a picture overload!
