Just a 20 year old college guy looking to stop wearing jeans and a tshirt and start dressing like an adult (a well-dressed adult).  Any tips on where to start (specifically regarding casual wear)?

I'm new to jean game. After a little bit of research I am stuck between 3sixteen, rogue territory, and rag and bone. What are some opinions on those. Or are their better options I can't think of in that price range $215. Thanks.

Start off focusing on having a very good fit on everything. A basic, plain t-shirt and basic jeans can look very good if they both fit you well. As far as broadening your wardrobe, for shirting maybe add some casual button downs (oxfords, plaids, chambray, ect.), along with, some basic plain tees v-neck or crew( if you are only wearing graphic tees right now). You can add some henleys or polo shirts in the mix if you like them. For pants grab some raws if you dont have a pair, khaki chinos, and maybe some chinos in other colors. For shoes, clarks or other chukkas are always a good option.

iirc rag and bone isn't raw denim, which the other two are. just depends on what you're looking for.

rag and bone does have raw denim options.

rag & bone does have raw options.  I spent 15 months breaking in a pair of RB23 raw indigo selvedge denim.  They're probably my favorite jeans.  Also in that price range for a great pair of raw jeans is A.P.C.

Ya it seems like alot of people don't really like apc. So I'm just kinda stuck between 3sixteen, rogue territory, and rag and bone. Everybody seems to like all of them. 3sixteen seems to get alot of love. I'm a bigger guy at 6'1" 215 pounds. I like a slim taper. Just can't decide between the 3. Or other brands I'm not thinking of that are better at that price point.

Hello,

What do you guys think of these outfits for casual events? I want to try the burgandy chino as I'm bored of Navy ones or Levi 514 tumbled rigids. The jacket has a shirt-like collar, and is made of a reasonably thick denim, with bronze stitchings. The jacket only goes well with tees, but I can wear the chino with just shirts or the striped polo.

I'll probably be wearing the outfits with these shoes, or a pair of boat shoes.

Any recommendation for jeans that come in 32x30? I'm looking for something on the bit formal side, dark and or raw, plain. Budget is ~$100/pair, new or used.

I just found a pair of bass all black suede shoes for $10, similar to the ones below, but all the stitching is black, and the sole is a little less pronounced.

What do you guys think would go with them well? I would wear them in a casual setting, but I'm skeptical jeans would work that well with them. Opinions?

Lookin' for an unconstructed sportcoat for fall, preferably in wool or tweed, for ~200 or less. Was considering this but I'm assuming its SS.
