I'm really not quite sure how to describe it, but does anyone know where i can get a very thin jacket(?) like this?

I
'm thinking in linen though, and buttons instead of a zip, and wrinkled. I don't want it to be very structured. Somehow the words Rustic Japan seem to come up in my head when I try to describe it.

You might want to measure the arm of your n&f shirt and compare it with the measurements at uniqlo's site. www.uniqlo.com/us/store/lifewear/men-oxford-slim-fit-long-sleeve-shirt/076081-62-002

I don't know about BB or Kamakura. You can probably get some measurement of them if you do enough researching.

maybe a silly question but is there such a thing as a database / resource guide that compiles how heavily certain brands will eventually discount their items. ie. A J Crew chino pant that starts at $75 could be discounted by xxx% max during their biggest sales of the year Or put another way - which brands heavily discount later vs which have more sticky pricing

Kamakura has measurements right on the site... CM side of things has some pretty favorable reviews for Kamakura shirting.

What size should I pick for the CP Chukkas? It's recommend to size down, but I wear 40.5EU/6.5UK/7US and they don't do half sizes.

Its not 'recommended' whatsoever. I wear the same size in chukkas and Achilles and there's no way I could fit into a size smaller.

Some people can't even size down 1 on CPs due to width anyways.

Do Uniqlo tees have big arm holes? Just got an american apparel t-shirt today (the summer tee) and the arm holes are way too big for me. Hoping Uniqlo is smaller.

Also, is there much of a difference with the 'premium cotton' Uniqlo tees from the standard ones?

But I've seen retailers recommending sizing down, in general for all CPs, from normal size.

It's so overlooked on here that just because something fits length wise means nothing. The total fit of the shoe is what has to be taken into account. Not to mention, some shoe designs are MEANT to have an elongated toe box.

SF is obsessed with sizing down to accommodate length, which I've learned over time does not apply to me in many cases. Can't stress enough, the need to try on shoes before purchasing after making many mistakes myself.

Any recommendations for a black shoe for weddings, funerals, etc (ie to go with a black suit)? I'm thinking a cap toe oxford perhaps? I'd like to spend less than $300.

TIA!
