In terms of S&D, I have an ample amount of quality shoes, boots, denim, and chinos that I'm now quite happy with. Recommendations for specific pieces or brands will help me get my foot in the door. But I'd especially appreciate general advice that could help inform my own research and shopping to help me put together a basic game plan. I'm in my 30's and except on rare occasions I no longer have to dress up for work. I'd like to avoid looks that sharply tend toward workwear, by which I mean (or at least I think i mean) that I'm not so inclined toward plaid shirts (like I often see with Iron Heart) or heavily 'western' looks (I'm not yet sure what I think of RRL top fits but I've only seen a few and some of them, actually, I do like). I sweat heavily no matter what the weather, so I tend to layer, to avoid tight fits under my arms, and to gravitate towards either wool fabrics or darker colors (which don't show moisture as prominently). I may start trolling the WAYWT threads for ideas, so recommendations of specific members to look for there, or of fits posted, could also be a good starting point.

I don't mind acquiring the right stuff slowly, over time, so let's assume $$ isn't an object.
