Yes thats what I have also been told, the quality is sub-par compared to some other pairs in the 300-400 dollar range, and it was recommended to grab them in a sale. I only am looking at them because I'll potientially be going to live in the Carribeans for about 2 years this coming September or January and just wanted a boot that can suffice the weather over there, and potientially be beaten to sh1t but not make me feel bad :D Even though I feel bad for my shoes regardless of price.

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 90

trying to find a store/brand that carries wide neck tees like this. nothing too crazy like some of those you see at american apparel or blk dnm. would prefer it to be within manhattan so i can go try it on.

(i know i've asked this before and thought maybe it was overlooked. my apologies in advance for asking it again, but really tryin to find somethin like this since it's starting to get warmer.)

I'll check them out. Meanwhile, are there any "cheaper" alternatives? I want to pick up quite a few as I get pretty sweaty =\ I would need a few in my rotation and at $80-$90 a piece, Acne seems a bit above what I was expecting to spend.

Thanks

Try Zara. I was looking for the same, saw some stuff at Zara that could work.

You know I actually tried to do that last night to one of my Hanes shirts and totally effed it up. I cut it a little bit and just ripped it to try to get that certain look and feel to it, but I guess I'll need to use scissors to be precise and throw it in the wash.

yes you need a  scissor haha.

get a tee with a uneck one size up to your size. then cut the neck around the neck but "inside" the ribbed part. now cut along the sleeves where they are sewed.

he does not buy the shirt in his size (look at the length of the sleeves on this pic:

(huge pic)

ahh that makes sense. yeah it is actually a bigger size. you can see the shoulder seam rests on the side of his shoulders. also, i cut right UNDER the ribbed part of my u-neck hanes so it wouldve come out stupid anyway. i guess once you wash it, it will curl like that. this looks totally doable and a very cheap alternative to some of the wide neck shirts out there. ill try this out tonight.

thanks
