I would say the appeals are: denim quality (has a beautiful weight that's incredible comfortable), washes (sepia black, petro, grey washes are beautiful and unique), the slim cut, and the back pockets (which are simple, but some models have nice subtle details).

Personally though, I'm not a huge fan of Geller denim because the inseam is short for a taller frame and there's some crotch fitting on the newer variations. Also, I prefer a button down to the zipper. I do love that black sepia wash from this season though.

For the love of all things holy, how are men's pants supposed to fit? Is there a hard and fast rule for how many inches of fabric should hang around the legs? Plus, I'm 6'6. Any suggestions for places to shop?

I really want to pick up a nice leather bifold to start breaking in daily such as tanner goods or corter. But can anyone recommend something closer to 3"x4" (instead of the usual 3.5x4.5) and also the thinner the better. If not ill just get a corter but I'd like something a bit less bulky.

There are very few hard and fast rules, if any, for something as subjective as personal style. If you're wondering about what's hip and fashionable these days, that's a different thing, and it's changing all the time. However, there are certain styles many consider "timeless" and there are some generally agreed upon rules (i.e. belt color should match shoes, charcoal over black suit).

Recently pants have gotten really tight, and some youngsters like to rock skinny jeans. I think generally younger folks wear tighter stuff, especially if you're in good shape and want to show off your shapely calves. Or want to cut off all circulation to your legs.

I would recommend a happy medium between too tight and too baggy. You want your pants to be comfortable; you should be able to move around freely in them. However, you don't want them to be loosely flapping about, either. Here's an example:

Since you're a pretty tall guy, you might have problems with proper drop length. I'm pretty average height so can't really help you there. Best of luck.

What denim have you been getting into? I love the details and washes, is there someone doing something comprable?
Any experience with DRKSDHWs more conservative denim?

Im in a similar boat on the 35" inseam.

Can anyone recommend some alternatives to blazers/sports jackets that go well with jeans for a business casual/sharp casual work environment? I already have a Levi's type 2 trucker jacket in dark indigo and type 3 in black corduroy.

Man, good denim is always a real hunt for me.

I recently bought a pair of United Stock Dry Goods in black because I like a black overdye look and the inseam is 35" (and the slight fit is super slim yet flattering). But those definitely don't have the subtle details, as they are around a $150 price point. I've been really pleased with the cut and denim quality though.

Other than that, I have a pair of washed black 19 cm Diors with like 2% stretch that are perfect. But Diors don't come cheap.

Other options over 35" are APC, 3sixteen. But those are all raw of course.

Never tried DRKSDHW.
