Well if I did hem it exactly to my liking, they could still shrink in the dryer, or I might decide later that I want it longer. I'm Canadian. We are a very indecisive people happy.gif

That's why stacking or cuffing are good options for me. I just wouldn't know how to stack with my prefered leg opening, and I'm a little unsure of having a bulky cuff.

What "tricks" are you looking for? You either make the pant leg shorter or you don't.

If your pant leg is dragging under your shoe, you're doing it wrong. Stop being so afraid of showing your socks.

For defying gravity, of course. I hear Japanese denim gurus have mastered this technique, but you have to defeat their eldest sons in close combat before they'll give it up.

is this jacket suitable for a 27 y/o wearing it with denim jeans or chinos and dark brown chukka style boots/boat shoes ?

initially i was looking for a black leather bomber jacket, but i realized you can't wear a black jacket with brown footwear and as i dot't like black footwear unless its shoes with my work suit, i was thinking this bomber jacket would go well with my dark brown chukka style boots/boa shoes + a casual shirt

or is it best to get a black leather bomber jacket with black footwear>?

do leather bomber jackets go well with OCBD plain shirts? its seems to much of a formal/casual clash?

- would be worn casually in the evenings and weekends - out with girlfriend or friends, cinema, restaurants, pubs/bars, shopping, etc

ay thoughts?

when you say trim, how 'close' fitting are we talking? any pics?

does anyone have any thoughts on a brown leather bomber jacket with brown footwear, instead of a black one with black footwear?

which is a more fashionable look in these leather bombers, black or brown?

what goes well with brown leather bomber jackets?

do OCBD plain shirts go well?

are there any colors besides black that should be avoided with a brown jacket like this one?

thank you

So guys, I'm very new here and there's one question me and my friends are always fighting about. I've learned, that denims should not be washed. If they begin to smell bad, you put them in the fridge for a couple of hours and wear them again but washing them destroys the act of personification.

What do you think? Do you wash your denims?

Great suggestion. Thanks!

Anyone from the states (preferable NYC) is able to pick up a print from an online store and ship it with first class mail to me, as cheap as possible?

Should I size down on Simon Spurr denim or does it fit true to size?

Size down. My hips are 33" and I wear 31" in the Simon Spurr slim fits. The material is also thin on Simon Spurr making it more comfortable when sizing down.

How is 35 % wool and 65 % viscose on a suit (120's)?

Making a MTM suit and this is one of fabrics they have. What should I look for.

Don't use viscose on a suit.

If they smell or you get something god awful on them, wash them with Woolite on gentle.  Just don't dry.  They'll shrink back to their original size and then you'll just have to break them in a little again.  I wouldn't overthink this one.  This also only really applies to raw denim since washed denim is already washed (see what I did there).
