is it versatile like the blue and white ocbd shirts?

also, what bottoms go best with ocbd shirts? chinos?, jeans?, any specific colors?
it will be worn for casual evening and weekend wear? casual = bars/pubs,. restaurants, shops, out with girlfriend or friends?

i intend to get plain ones, but what do you guys think of getting striped or checked ones instead?

im just a bit concerned they will look like a formal shirt you would wear in the office?

thanks for any opinions

Pink is fine. They're casual so you can wear them with jeans and chinos. No to the stripes and checks.

I have 1-2 shirts that seem to be a bit shorter and I feel it gives it a better look untucked.

Any particular brand or style to keep an eye out for shirts that fit like this?

I'm 5'9" , fwiw

I have different shirts for tuck in and wearing out. I find that shirts don't do both well for me.

Pink shirts are up to the tone of the pink in my opinion.

thanks timba,

besides white and light blue OCBD shirts. would you advise buying a pink one?

what color trousers/jeans/chinos would go well with a pink OCBD?

Would dark brown chukka boots/boat shoes go well with a pink OCBD?

I cant help that feel OCBD's are very formal,   to be worn in the office?

what do others wear a Oxford cloth button down shirt with?

and on what occasions would you wear one of these shirts?

Tuma, here is the shade of pink OCBD:

is it suitable for casual wear?

Can someone please advise as to the sizing on Rick Owens Geobasket Sneakers SS13? Apparently they run large. I'm typically a 44. 43 in this years KVAs as they run a size large. I hear Ricks are similar.

Thank you

same here. especially at that height, not going to find shirts without going MTM or bringing them to a tailor, that are going to work for both tucked and untucked

Adamt: Tone looks fine to me. Wear it with dark blue knit for example. But as you said combinations like that are quite often pretty formal.

I have a pair of jeans that got splattered with slush that left dark brown stains the first time I wore them. I tried washing them, and then stupidly put them in the dryer without checking the splatter because I washed them inside out. The stains didn't come out, so I tried using Shout to help; I left the Shout on overnight as recommended on the back of the bottle and it didn't work. I then tried soaking them in warm water with a bit of detergent in the sink to see if it would help loosen the stains before putting them in the wash, but I noticed that they were bleeding a lot so I took them out early. I then lay them flat in the bathtub and sprayed more Shout on them thinking maybe it would help that they were already wet. I let the Shout on overnight again and washed them today but when I took them out of the washer the stains were still there. The jeans look like they're starting to fade from all the washing, and I want to avoid fading as much as possible.

Does anybody know a way I can get the stains out? Should I just take them to a dry cleaner and ask them if they can get the stains out?

Thanks.

Hi!

I recently bought a used pair of suede APC back zip boots and on one of them, the zipper always opens at the bottom when I walk only a few meters, it's really annoying. I already wondered why they were in such a good condition when I got them considering from what season they are, but the previous owner probably didn't wear them often because of that...

What would be an easy way to fix that?

Thanks in advance!

That color is fine. Also get a grey ocbd.
Wear blue pants with the pink. Black should work too.
Brown chukkas/boots will work if you wear navy pants.

OCBDs aren't necessarily formal. Look through WAYWT. Pair them with a knit and jeans and it will look good. Also a slightly slouchy unstructured blazer that's not wool (cotton or linen) would work. Even a knit blazer should work.

   Thanks timba,

i went through 15 pages of the WAYWT thread and the styles in the pics are not for me. , i prefer a mor casual/smart look. less bright bold colors/patterns

With OCBD shirts. are they best worn tucked in or not?

The pink Uniqlo OCBD shirt i posted are the ones ill be getting, but in light blue, white and gray if i can find one

when you say navy pants, would that include navy chinos as i have a pair of them?

by the way, what do you think of chinos in a regular straight leg fit?

as everyone seems to be wearing skinny chinos, whjich im not so keen on , but then i dont want big baggy chinos

when you say a knit are you talking about a thin jumper/sweater, or do you mean cardigan?

I disagree with Timbaland. I think a blue university striped OCBD is a classic pattern to get an OCBD in, checked, less so, agree with him on that.

I find that OCBDs are very casual and I try to only wear them with chinos, jeans, or more casual pants. I don't like the look of them with wool trousers, unless there is a bit of texture to them like a tweed. I typically would only wear one to the office on Friday or a more casual day.

adam I don't tuck in the OCBDs since my workplace is casual and I generally wear them with jeans. For chinos and dressier pants tucking in is fine. Navy chinos are fine. I prefer slim straight pants or anything with some taper. And when I say knit, I've seen OCBDs paired well with chunky cardigans like SNS Stark, Schneider, etc.

Winston, I agree that the blue stripe OCBD is a classic. Most striped OCBDs don't look good at all though. So I said no in general.
