I have plenty of raw and "premium" denim, but I want a few pairs of washed denim with a looser fit that I can wear around town. For a while, that was my J Crew x Levi's collab (forgot the model). I recently helped a friend move and ripped a giant hole in the rear. Oops.

Please recommend a brand/model of denim I can buy to replace it. Again, something of a more relaxed but not baggy fit. Thanks.

Nope. If they shrinkany amount at all, it will be negligible. I would return them or if you can't you can have a tailor taper them.

I'm a big fan of RRL for washed denim. You can look at the straight fit. LVC can work too.

I have a pair of RRL and it's pretty slim, especially around the thighs. Is there a certain version I should look for?

What fit on them do you have? They have 4 jeans models that I'm aware of slim fit, slim bootcut, low straight, and straight. The straight fit is the loosest and had some room in the thighs from what I remember. You can find them on ebay for a decent price.

Do W+H Westpoint chinos shrink much on their first wash?
^ Washed mine once and any shrinkage was negligible. I hung dry though...
