Does anyone have these or know how they develop after a bit of wear? Got them at on sale, but am having some second thoughts about the lack of a gum sole and the rubberized matte upper.

Hi guys, i could use a quick answer. I have just purchased a pair of Lanvins online, but they feel kind of big.

Inside the shoe it states - DBB1VER 6.

it even states size 6 on the box...

What size in US and EU is that?

i could be wrong but i think lanvin runs a bit bigger than its uk sizing. therfore its more like an 8 us than a uk 7 (lanvin 6)

however i have never owned a pair, so dont take my word for it

i have tried a pair on in stores (forget what size) but they were significantly smaller looking than my margiela gats but still felt big. i concluded it was due to the bigger toe box as well as the wider ankle opening..

What does baller mean? (in reference to the baller sneaker thread)

Are cheap high top sneakers worth buying? I got a $50 dollar nordstrom card as a gift, need to spend.

It used to reference sports stars from the hood making it big time, in terms of money. Like that basketballer had nothing in high school, but made it to the NBA is just ballin' in money, cars, girls, etc.

Now it's pretty much used to as an adjective for having money (if referring to a person) or expensive goods (if referring to an item).

God..i think that was too long of an explanation...

Lanvin are designated in UK sizes and they run a bit big at that I understand. So a UK 6 would equate to a US 7.

I'm a huge fan (hopefully soon from personal experience) of the Alden Flex Welt Chukka Suede Boots. Look into those if you're willing to pay towards the more expensive side. I have had my eye on so many suede chukkas and those keep making it to the top of my list.

Can anyone identify shoes or bag?

Shoes look like Adidas to me, possibly Rod Laver model.

I'm not a fan of black leather sneakers, but I've seen a few CPs pop up for good prices on eBay and in the B&S here in SW&D. Another similar alternative on a bit less expensive than CP would be Generic Man or possibly Surface to Air. Also, there's always the Adidas Rod Lavers which have a slim profile closer to the CP profile.

Just bought some Rag & Bone jeans on ebay. Thought they were a size smaller than marked. Found out the ones I bought are TTS. Should I just tailor them, or should I try to return them? Bought them for $80 shipped.

This is looks like a very nice you classic motorcycle jacket.
Unless it's an issue of a price, i would definitely keep it.
Whether it's s10 or s11, it's a classic.
