Yes, but black trousers/brown shoes is going to work better with a lighter shade of brown for the betl/shoes. Can't really see it well in the pictures.

Advice needed: What if my jeans have stretched too much after the first week, what should I do to get them smaller in the waist again? Go to a tailor or Soak them? Hot or cold?

Mine have stretched a lot, but actually I like them this way. It makes them more comfortable. I'm asking WHAT IF, what if they have stretched too much, what would you do? Or even better what have you done if you have had the same problem.

This thread should have all your denim answers and soak them in damp water, but they will stretch out again afterwards.

First off, are these converse slim suitable for a 27 y/o's wardrobe?]

As i mainly wear dark brown boat shoes for casual wear with jeans/chinos, casual shirts/sweaters, i want to get some footwear to replace my Adidas Stan Smith trainers - a classic plain white shoe

So was wondering what people think of the above converse slim trainers, for weekend/daytime casual wear (shops, cinema, restaurant, town shopping , friends, etc)  with denim jeans, chinos, cargos, and sweatpants,

they look quite versatile so could they be worn with a casual shirt, sweater/cardigan as well as a t-shirt & jacket?

- i just need a casual white shoe but not too sporty like trainers/sneakers are

also do they were a size big? e.g. im a size UK 8, so is size UK 9 more suitable?

thanks

anyone know how easy and how much it might cost to get a blazer shortened lengthwise? same question for getting a peacoat tapered - i have a jcrew peacoat with thinsulate and wondering if that thinsulate layer would be an issue.

^get regular white chucks or another pair of stan smiths to replace the ones you blew out.

or save up and get a pair of achilles lows.

stan smiths and regular chucks are classics.

Huh, do you have a link to these converse? Tried reverse google image search and nothing came up. I thought they were JPs at first but it doesn't have that smile at the bottom.
