Looking for general advice on how to size for New Balances; specifically the 577. If I'm a 9.5 in Vans do I go with a 9.5 in NB's?

Goodale Jeans. 50 bucks seems too good to be true for a pair of raw denim. Any idea on the quality?

They could be raw just not selvedge. Levis 501 STF is raw and you can get them for like $35. The quality won't be that good on those jeans. If you want an entry level raw and selvedge jean you can check out Unbranded brand

Or comb the existing sales/patiently wait until end of fall sales. Ssense had W&H straight fit raw marked down to 58 with a nearly full run of sizes a couple of weeks ago...

Need some advice y'all. Are these boots too rakishly narrow and pointy?

Most likely they're inappropriate in a conservative work environment, but I'm unsure how they look for casual wear with slacks and denim?

Uniqlo MIJ is quite good as well and fairly cheap.

I think they would look really nice with a good pair of jeans, but would probably steer away from wearing them with slacks since the way the trousers above are falling on them is looking a little off (a bit short for my taste). But, I can see them working really well with a nice pair of selvedge jeans with some good stacks on them :)

^ do not take this advice

imo, boots (and shoes) with aggressive points like that call for crispy fabric, slim pants. Preferably a full suit. not good with denim... unless you're like Joey Ramone tall and skinny... and the boots are more trashed looking.

How easy is it to tailor a pair of Margiela pants, especially in the waist.

is anybody familiar with Brioni's leather goods? I'm looking for a card holder/front pocket wallet but don't really trust the luxury brands that much? What else is good other than Bottega Veneta?

Hi guys. First post, so I put it here so I don't put it in the wrong place and annoy someone.

I just lost this auction on ebay to someone with a sniping programme: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400318450294?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619&autorefresh=true&autorefresh=true#ht_2160wt_1167

Here's some photos if you can't see the page:

It's a 'vintage' levis blanket lined denim, I'm fairy sure it's genuine although I'm not as good at telling as I am with jeans. I really wanted it and I'm not beyond paying full price, so does anyone know where else I can get it?

Edit: I can't seem to get the photos any bigger, even if I click on the 'large' option.

For what it's worth, that jacket is not really that old. I don't know where you can source another one, but it's not actually a vintage levi's piece. The seller likely used it as a buzz word to generate views/traffic for their auction.

I'm considering buying a pair of black chelsea boots from the company Bexley, and plan on wearing with either casual wear (chinos, jeans, slacks), or occasionally a suit. Should I go with the Flager or Jermyn pair?

Flager:
