Trust me, I WISH those worked.  Problem is I can see them.

Silly question, but is there a specific name of this type of shoe?

Probably covered somewhere but is it within the skill set of an average middle age man to purchase something off Yahoo Auctions Japan? My head hurts just looking at the page.

Open page in Chrome, auto translate, figure out how much it costs, go to sharpservice.jp and have them proxy the auction for you biggrin.gif

Hey I have some black tectuff dr. martens, I usually wear skinny's with them and a t shirt. Would they look ok with a polo shirt? And should I wear the skinny's tucked in or cuffed?

Posted this question in the men's clothing thread but then realized this might be more appropriate place to get an answer- I am a SUPER skinny guy (6'1", 142 lbs) really hurting in the oxford department. Just about everything I try fits like a trash bag. Any suggestions on slim fitting, casual oxfords/shirts that could be worn untucked? The cheaper the better but I'd be willing to shell out the dough if it's going to last me in the long run.

WvG before dinner cut is what you're looking for. You may need the tall version, which he should be releasing shortly. Email Mauro for more information. www.wolfvsgoat.com

I'm in the same boat as you, 6'1" / 138 lbs. The recommendation I usually get is to try one of the online MTM places, but so far I haven't gotten around to comparing them all to see which one would work best.

I bought a standard utility belt from Corter Leather. I've been wearing it for about a month, but I haven't treated it with oil yet. This being my first raw leather product, I wasn't sure if oil treatment was needed and what product to use. I like the way the belt looks right now. Is there any need to treat it and if so, what product should I use to retain and preserve the current look?

I also have a Corter belt and have the same question along with another one:

Is it normal for a belt to bulge out? My belt bulges out to the point that it's annoying to even wear tshirts with it anymore. At first I thought it would settle as the leather was still new but 1 month in it doesn't seem like it'll go away.

Anyone know of some nice olive green parkas? my max price range is about $500. I'd prefer more 3-400 range though.
