I would like to thank the mods for allowing me to come back. The abyss is a cold...cold place.

Okay so apparently no one took this post in the serious vein it was meant, so in the alternative, is it possible to make SWD one of the fora in which there is a minimum post count for thread creation? 100 should do it.

when I hit report post, is it of any value to write a message explaining why or do the mods just see the post and figure it out. i ask because sometimes i'm reporting like 10 spammers at a time and i don't know if you need info like 'sig spammer' or 'Appreciation' or just 'bad language', etc

A little info helps but unless it is an unusual situation we probably don't need much. Generally I open about 20 windows in a row from the reported posts and work through them, so unless it's something that's not obvious (trolling, obscure B&S problem etc) I won't pay much attention to the reason given. It would probably be better to spend your time reporting more than giving more detail. And thanks for your help keeping the forum clear of spam etc. Hopefully not too long until we will have a much more sophisticated flagging system.

There is some "Dress Sale" spam in a "Dress Occasion" thread in the clothing forum.

For what it's worth I don't read many new threads b/c there are so many pinned threads and appreciation/official threads that it is hard to even notice them and they are rarely interesting but honestly I don't see a lot of troll threads.
I do see noob threads, and threads that don't fit into the "baler" circle jerk that tends to dominate at times. Maybe provide a link. But I don't think you can stop people from asking silly questions nor do I think you would want to.
Just my 2 cents.
