Hey guys. It looks like whenever I have more than one post per page, I'm unable to edit subsequent posts. When someone quotes the post, however, the edited message appears in the quotes. (For instance, quote this post, and you should see my invisible edit: an extra row of these guys: icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

(Actually, nvm. This time my editing is doing other weird things.)

Is this a known issue, or...just me?

edited post delays is indeed a known issue. i however, have not experienced it in a while.

then again, i rarely post more than one time per page. tongue.gif

We decided to DT it because after a while it went overwhelmingly on the dumb side. Looking back at it now, I might trace that moment to post 399. Before that at least, I had been willing to defend it. This is not to say that I didn't appreciate the humor in post 399, just that--for better or for worse-- I didn't think the thread needed to be taken very seriously after that.

I don't know what or who got him timed out. Or is he banned? I think I deleted a couple socks he started after being timed out or banned whichever it was, but I don't think I made the original call, so I can't say for how long it'll be.

Meh. Good riddance. He was OK in the beginning, but his shtick wore thin at the end. I don't miss him.

Okay, I read post 399 and the ones around it for a few pages so I get where you're coming from.

That said, I don't get Foo. Sometimes he reads as serious, and other times he comes off as a caricature of UMC / MC in general. And I wouldn't mind either way - I appreciate a good lampooning - but the weird thing is that he draws so much vitriol and so many posters who are anxious to compare **** sizes. That's where the Foo threads turn me off, and that's why they stick out for me in DT's.

I always thought he was a prime candidate for Aspergers and that is why he comes off the way that he does.
