lol. i let spoo practice on an old thread of mine. that did not end well for him. ask fok for the how to guide. im sure he'll be happy to oblige.

i think it would be nice to see that concept in practice. a solid focused thread, devoted to a certain topic with no rifraff. not very SF like, but would be a cool experiment.

(See similar thread in SW&D to understand my concerns.) Anyway, I remain curious about whether or not the self-mod feature every came into being. -- Fred H.

would love a thread like that. ive considered starting one quite a few times but really dont want the thread to turn into a downward spiral of politics and whatnot. just a decent thread on how to carry without wearing an oversized shirt everyday. lol8[1].gif

I started the Tweed appreciation thread with a feeling it would go off the rails at some point and I could use my dubiousness, but so far so good.

Request that Thomas' custom title be made Great Caesar. Or, if you're feeling cheeky, Great Caesar Salad.

Also, heretofore Fine Living should be titled The Desolate Hinterlands.

Except that we have a Caeser IRL who goes by Salad on The Forvm. Surely, you can come up with an alternate custom title, Shirley.

yeah so why was the user ednotinatlanta banned? You know, just out of curiosity and stuff.

ETA: Yeah, I mean, his/her post totally just popped up in my newsfeed like some Facebook type stuff. srs.

Is it possible to have the old-style block list again? I block some members but occasionally need to read their posts to see where the current topic in a thread came from. In the old style I could see the name of the blocked member (something like 'Member555 is in your block list') but the new style doesn't give a name so in some threads I need to keep revealing posts until I can finally find the one I want.

This sounds reasonable. It's probably not going to be super high priority, but we'll get it on the list of requested features.

Cheers,

Fok.
