He's been timed out for a few weeks. Same for Reevolving (surprised no one's asked). Both, imo, make some positive contributions to the forum, but both lace their deliveries w/ insults, which brings out the hecklers,* and it's all downhill from there.

*In the recent altercation w/ CB, though, others were pretty well behaved.

Hey fellas in charge... I remember reading somewhere (before the changeover?) that ya'll were contemplating letting certain members moderate threads they started. Did that ever come to pass? I have a thread idea for MC that I think could be very interesting (basic concept = everyday carry for the MC folks) but afraid that it would degenerate quickly into a guns / knives / weapons political discussion without heavy moderation. (See similar thread in SW&D to understand my concerns.) Anyway, I remain curious about whether or not the self-mod feature every came into being. -- Fred H.

im no mod, but yes people with the dubiously honored label have that power. maybe ask one of those dudes to start the thread. spoo and manton are two i can think of off the top of my head.
