Actually, I agree. I don't think we need an entire technology sub forum. Just a header so all the tech stuff is in one place. Right now, its all over the place. And it doesn't fit in Fine Living.

I'm pretty sure "landoeffincalrissian" is DonCarlos/Arrogant Bastard. I understand good-natured trolling every once in a while, but he is getting out of hand. Hey, I even enjoyed some of his past trolling and I'll admit it. But I'm getting tired of him polluting (even more than the standard) the Health & Body forum.

while i understand that if someone has been TO'd a sock would not be allowed, as the idea is that said member is being told to take a break from being on the fora. and in so far as they are still a member a sock would be a no-no.

but if someone has been permabaned its not really a sock anymore. its a new member. that being said, is it bad to let someone have a fresh start on the fora, and to try again at getting along? this has certainly happened before.

I certainly think he should be able to have a fresh start, the one convo we had in PMs was plenty civil - as long as he stays civil in H&B I think he'll wind up staying. Apparently he's a big contributor to the food pron threaks so thats cool.

Sometimes, someone gets banned because of douchebag behavior in one part of the forum. Sometimes, we realize that that person may actually be a good poster elsewhere. Sometimes, if that poster asks to come back, we allow them to, but with the stipulation that they no longer use the subforum that caused them to behave in such a way that got them banned in the first place.

I don't think that there will be any more subforums created until after the move, on which we are working very hard.
