Yes, it's being looked into.  I am getting the same shockwave issue, fwiw.

Cheers,

Fok.

I only just started getting it yesterday.

There are a LOT of flash objects called "OVVBeacon.swf" on my page. Seems like these are some sort of ad-monitoring flash object...not sure if these are the problem, but that's a lot of "useless" (from a user standpoint) flash objects to load on a page that doesn't really require flash to display any of the content we actually want to see.

Also, on this page, I am getting continuous errors of "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'left' of undefined" on this image link:
Code:
http://predictionai.com/sas/player/rPlayer_m2.php?brandID=21&cb=1454519490&sPlatform=ASS2&sCampaignID=11955569&sPlacement=5031956&sPublisher=18017&sCost=1.136364&sBid=2.960704&sGeo=US&sSeller=357&creativeID=40805722&userID=426667072228655333&lineItemID=2570280&sState=AZ&userCity=Phoenix&sDomain=http://www.styleforum.net/t/164395/site-topics-part-ii/15420

This image link is tied to "OVVAsset.positionBeacons" which furthers my concern that these "OVVBeacon" things are causing the problem.

I'll report that as well.

We've sent out a cease and desist letter. That was on the 20th. It usually take some time to get the ISP to take down these mirror sites, but we'll get it done. It's a pretty clear IP violation on a few levels, from the code to the database, so it should not be a problem. But the legal system moves more slowly than I'd like.

You want to see the bad guys of the internet, guys who do that are it. They are really the parasites of the internet, and they do that to any number of sites, big (who manage to get the mirrors taken down) and small (often, less aware or savvy, and so more often get taken for a ride.)

Cheers,

Fok.

This is just your spam filter being overly cautious.  I routinely get this about very legitimate sites.  I think that the word "private message" trips up the filters sometimes.

The shockwave thing, I've reported a couple of times and is hopefully being resolved now.

Getting a lot of mucinex autoplay ads

Multi quote doesn't work on mobile. Just takes you to the quote box with nothing in it.

Also, there's some threaks where poasters on my ignore list make decent(ish) contributions but on mobile the box to see their posts also doesn't work.

The sight was better for a couple of days but this morning it's back to hogging all my memory and freezing my machine up until I close the SF tab.

Been doing a lot of lube shopping recently?

My ads are always for products I recently researched/purchased...

I get those too--mostly Yoox and Rakuten. The KY was part of the autoplay vid, along with Mucinex and some other brands. Maybe KY saw my browsing habits and made some assumptions about my lifestyle.

ACtually that's a Firefox issue. Used to happen to me all the time and is a fairly common problem. Switch to Chrome and your fine.

Weird.  I've had none of these issues.  Probably because I'm on a Mac.  Too thin and light for spammers to catch hold of.
