If I recall, at some point b1os you simply posted, "I don't like you" and left it at that. It cracked me up a bit.
I am 100% behind parody spam and will contribute 30% of the effort.
I'd suggest our "dear susan" be a lawyer from a small town trying to live the high life as a lawyer in the big city. It would be too easy to simply just have a gay white guy going after straight twink Indians and getting frustrated, and this way we could sort of...dunno....show him the error of his ways.
But he needs to be a minority of some sort. What if he was a non-practicing Mormon lawyer from small town Mississippi asking for social advice pertaining to his move to the big city (Atlanta)?
Unfortunately, the last couple of dozen parody threads I've seen/authored have all been OP, followed by a smattering of lol-posts.
And, FWIW, I think it's better if authored by a sock. If Thomas, FLMM, Teacher, et al, writes a parody post, people lean back and watch. If El Hawat writes a post, people aren't so sure what to think.
You can't really plan these things. You just need a sick & twisted individual (such as, ahem, Yours Truly) to start something so preposterously stupid that people actually venture forth serious responses just to see them get batted back in a frothy mixture of high dudgeon and low stupidity. ..... ..... ..... .... .... ....

You're Fisher Shard, aren't you?
Ya, Kaplan was talking about how on internet explorer when he clicks the arrow next to a thread, it takes him to the top of the most recent page instead of the most recent post. That's something for the Huddler programers, I'd imagine.
^ The issue is much less specific than that. As it is now, there's now way of going to the most reason post in a thread (be it from the Subscribtions page, the links in the subscribtion e-mail or from the forum proper), they all take you to the top of the page, not the specific last read post.
Since it started at the same time for NOBD and I a couple of weeks ago it seems likely to be due to a change on Huddler's end.
It is really cribbling for the forum experience, trawling through the same posts again and again, trying to locate the new content.
I will let you know what they say. It definitely sucks on IE.
