Flag the post you find offensive, include an explanation of why, and let a mod sort it out. We can't monitor all the threads.

Is it possible to put someone completely on "ignore" so as to not see where they've posted at all? So far it looks like they only thing you can do is "block" someone so that all their posts show up in the style of being a spoiler. But I'd like to be able to ignore someone altogether. Is that possible?

Thanks.

I'd like to change my username, I've read it is possible. What do I need to do to request this? (Sorry if this isn't the right place, but it seemed like a mod issue, and it also seemed like the logical place to leave a record of such event. If I'm wrong, please move it.)

How long does it take for a thread created by a new forum member to go through moderation?

I'd like to know more about this random box.

I just joined the forum, and I tried creating a new thread. It said that because I was a new user, the thread will be on hold until moderated.

Posts that are reported by users or by our bots as having a high spam potential are sometimes automatically deleted or held until a moderator looks at them. Your posts have thus far fallen afoul of the bots, though I am not entirely certain why. Some have been deleted, and one is being held until someone looks at it.

That could be a few minutes, or it could be a few days.

I am not a mod in whatever subforum you posted your new thread, so I cannot see it myself to release it. Sorry, you'll have to wait.

What makes you say that? He continues to mount serious positions.

I think anyone who gets mounted should take it seriously.
