You have good fits and great fits, a one-brand fit can never be better than good it's science.
I prefer well-styled one brand fits to those that are just a collection of #fashion items whose only pretense of association is that universal fashion superglue (black colourway).
much better @ powza. I dig it. all leather jacket fits look good and barrettdudley and b!cd nice fits as well. b!cd your haircut looks good man but I feel like your eyes are piercing my soul
Yeah I feel you. Whatchu have in mind? I tend to stay away from buttondowns unless they're absolutely required, but I might check out some other options (bandcollars, etc)
am I out of line to think that like those painted GATs are kind of a joke of "here's some old sneakers with house paint on them that are really expensive" or the MMM stuff where they took found clothing and reproduced it as "fashion." This was playful yes? Do I not get it? I like fashion but it is funny yes?
No, you're wrong, the motif of white paint over everything is a much deeper part of MMM's DNA and is a way to put everythng on the same neutral level; found objects, old furniture, new luxurious jackets, chandeliers etc.. In other words the label erases historical references or social references and starts with a fresh base, making items it's own by making them empty canvases. No content and even the destruction of content as an instantly recognizable design touch. Quite clever really.

This reminds me of the Brand Spirit tumblr, which you all need to check out if you haven't already

Nothing I can think of in particular, but there are plenty of t's out there that would look nicer than Everlane. Mostly I just don't really like crew neck t's unless there's something clearly 50s/rockabilly going on in the overall fit, but that's just me of course. Other than that, I bet you could rock a turtle neck with a blazer pretty well once it gets cold.
