Gosh, without even going deep into scientific articles and monographs, just recall how many times different people have referred differently to the color of something you wear. I have a jacket who some perceive as black and some as dark blue. I have another jacket that some perceive as grey and some as green. I have a blazer that some perceive as brownish and some as grey.  Furthermore, some people are fucking achromates.  What scientific proof do you need now?

my buddy has this shirt... not sure if it's more or less funny given that he actually is a doctor.

I'd like to read it too, I've always just seen the question as an interesting thought, but wouldn't mind being proven wrong

Welcome to Comrade Pissant's psychotherapy, narcolepsy and existential philosophy thread.

Can a mod rename this "color theory and a guy with tourette's" ?

Him not liking it is not the problem. Him saying it looks like a generic summer outfit despite the obvious details that differentiate it is.

Every time someone discusses clothing other than delivering praising platitudes there's always some smartass to remark about how futile the whole thing is. If you're not interested in having actual discussions about style can you just go post your fits on lookbook.nu or The Fashion Spot instead?

I'm looking for this discussion, is the thing. Or did it reach its zenith with, Gawd, you're stupid?

JBravo, there is really no point in arguing and being a dick to everybody because you made a ridiculous comment and got called out on it. People got annoyed with my post and I listened when they told me to shut up, you should try that.
