In this case one of my roommates had just brought them back from Canada, but there are a handful of cheese shops here that have them regularly.  And a few places that serve poutine, so it's out there.  I'd just call around and see what you can come up with.

This is absolutely 100% correct. She gets credit for not only being in most (all?) of the top-rated photos, and looking great in them, but for coming up with most of the ideas for the more elaborate shots as well.
