All the OB stuff I have is made in Portugal, they have great quality in my opinion. I've tried Onia, Parke & Ronen (these are made in the USA btw) etc. and OB emerged as my favorite

I don't know what bad experiences you're talking about, but I'm neither trying to be catty nor pick a fight. It's a silly thing to say, that's all - even saying "I like the way men look in tuxedos" would have been enough of a qualifier, but then we get dragged into this culture war of imaginary, mindless nostalgia and I think it's worth pointing out that it's silly. "Black Tie," whatever it is, is cool enough for SW+D sometimes. I think that, if we had any brains at all, we'd link this to BreezyBirch's post about perceptions of the male figure, but I guess I don't have the energy.

I had no idea your hair/facial hair looked like that. Both seem rather fitting for the way you dress. Carry on.

FWIW that's exactly my point; and yes I divorced it from its codified nostalgic snobbery.

I don't think we need to discuss this any further though, I think we're on the same page... and I also agree with a lot of points in that Breezy post. That's why I, uh, hang out here.

Never said there was anything wrong with the length of that shirt. It was the button down collar / Oxford style which we were referring to. And I was simply stating that all dress shirts I own, ie: non button down collar or Oxford cloth are very long and I'd like a dress shirt without so much length to wear in-tucked. Hence the link I posted.
